Shipping Details

An explanation for the crazy international shipping costs: 

The issue is that international shipping with any sort of order guarantee is just incredibly expensive. 
The issue really comes down to credit card processors and delivery guarantees. 

I can use USPS to ship to most international destinations via regular First Class International mail for like under $10, however - there is absolutely no guarantee or tracking on that. 
So when USPS screws up, and the customer doesn't get their package (which happens 25% or more of the time in my experience) then I'm then left as the one responsible.     I end up having to refund the customer, and I'm out the lost product so it's double cost to me, and I have an angry customer...

So the more expensive services that generally cost $40 USD or more are the only ones that have delivery guarantee/insurance, and international tracking.

We ship ~3x weekly - typically your order will be shipped within 2 days of ordering.   Tracking number is included with all orders. 

 
USA orders with a shipping of less than $7 will be shipped via USPS First Class mail which takes 3-5 days for delivery. 


USA orders with a shipping fee of > $9 will be shipping via USPS Priority mail (which includes $50 insurance) and takes 2-3 days for delivery. 



All international orders are shipped via USPS Priority International, which includes tracking and insurance.  Unfortunately this also makes our international shipping quite expensive -but when we've used the less expensive international services in the past like 25% of all orders were lost in shipping and when that happens we lose both the product and the sale so we can't use those methods.
